MY PROFESSIONAL STATUS

I want to make it clear that I am not a licensed mental health professional in the state of Arizona.

Although I have a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, I have chosen to not work under the title of a counselor. Further, in the past I met the requirements for the title of National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). However, I have dropped my national certification and am no longer a NCC.

I consider myself a coach or a mentor.

What this means to you, for one, is that I am not governed or supervised by a mental health board. If you were to have any complaints or concerns about how I operate my business, the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners can answer most general questions you would have. And, of course, the Better Business Bureau is a resource.

When you share with others about the work we’re doing, you may refer to me in any number of ways--coach, mentor, communication specialist, relationship expert, or your personal guide through the jungles of love.
